OpenClaw Installation: OpenClaw works inside 3 layers of limits with 1 approval gate
// problems we solve
Problems we often find.
OpenClaw runs, but anyone who knows the WhatsApp number can send it a command.
Set an access mode per channel: pairing or an allowlist. List the people who may use the agent. Require human approval for a risky command.
A past upgrade broke the configuration, and no backup existed.
Follow a written upgrade order: a verified backup, a rehearsal test, the upgrade, then a rollback if it fails. We choose a stable release, not a beta.
The agent reads email and documents, but no record shows who asked for what.
An audit log starts on day 1. It never stores secret values. The SOP explains how to read the activity record.
Your team wants 2 agents that talk to each other, but fears 1 agent could open another agent's session.
We write and test cross-agent access limits. Each agent reads only the data and sessions it is allowed to use.

Review and access design
We review your channels, tools, agent count, and the people allowed to use the agent. We write the final price in a quote.
Output: An approved access design and a list of settings.Install and hardening
We install a stable OpenClaw release on your server, then set up users, a firewall, secrets, and a verified backup.
Output: OpenClaw runs, and a built-in security check shows a clean result.Channels, tools, access limits
We connect your chosen channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, or email), install baseline MCP tools, and turn on pairing or allowlist mode.
Output: A test message from an allowed sender gets a reply; an unknown sender gets a pairing code.Workflow test and audit log
We run 1 of your workflows end to end, check the activity record, and test approval for a risky command.
Output: Test notes and a sample audit log an operator can read.Rehearsal, upgrade, SOP
We write the SOP for daily use, checks, backup, and upgrades, then train 1 of your operators.
Output: An SOP document, a note of the installed version, and a signed handover.// what you get
A clear scope. Useful handover.

OpenClaw 2026.9.4 shipped on 11 September 2026. It can recover from compatible failed updates, adds a command reviewer with automatic allow, deny, or escalate decisions, and tightens WhatsApp allowlists. Release 2026.6.35 (10 September 2026) is the final June 2026 Extended Stable release.

FAQ
What is the OpenClaw Installation Service?
The OpenClaw Installation Service installs the OpenClaw agent platform on your server. It then sets access limits per channel, an audit log, MCP tools, and a written upgrade SOP. The price runs IDR 7.5–25M by scope, and installation takes 1–2 weeks once access is ready.
What sets the price between IDR 7.5M and IDR 25M?
The price rises with the number of connected channels, the number of agents and MCP tools installed, and the depth of the SOP you need. 1 channel with 1 agent sits near IDR 7.5M. Many channels, many agents, and a full SOP with extra training sit near IDR 25M. The final number appears in a written quote.
Which OpenClaw version do you install: stable, Extended Stable, or beta?
We install the latest stable release, for example 2026.9.4, never a beta. If your team needs a slower-moving track, we choose a supported Extended Stable release instead, for example 2026.6.35. We write the chosen track into the access design before install, and we avoid beta releases on production servers.
How does an upgrade happen after handover?
We write the upgrade order into your SOP: a verified backup, a rehearsal test on the new release. The order then covers the upgrade, then a rollback if the rehearsal fails. Your team can run this order alone, or choose OS Care Retainer if you want us to watch and run each upgrade every month.
What are the revision and cancellation rules for the OpenClaw Installation Service?
You get 1 round of configuration fixes within 7 working days after handover, for the same scope. The 1-2 week duration starts once server access, provider accounts, and channel accounts are complete. The server, accounts, secrets, and activity records stay yours, and we remove our access when the 7 working day fix window ends. We guarantee OpenClaw and 1 workflow run with active access limits, not vendor bugs or channel policy changes.
How do access limits stop outsiders from sending commands?
Every channel runs in pairing or allowlist mode, never in open mode. A new sender gets a pairing code and waits for operator approval, while allowlist mode answers only registered numbers or accounts. A risky command still waits for human approval before the agent runs it, so an outsider cannot send a command on its own.
Does the audit log record each command and its sender?
Yes. The audit log records each command, its sender, and the action the agent ran, starting on day 1. The log never stores secret values such as passwords or tokens. The SOP we hand over explains how an operator reads this log and checks a command that was denied or is awaiting approval.
What server does OpenClaw need?
OpenClaw runs on a server or cloud account that stays yours, not ours. We check the server specification during the review and access design step, then match the hardening to its capacity. Server, cloud account, and model API costs stay separate from the installation price, because they remain your property and responsibility.
How is this different from AI Agent Ops Install and the Hermes Agent Installation Service?
AI Agent Ops Install is the step before this one: you choose an agent product and design cross-agent access before you install any of them. The OpenClaw Installation Service installs the OpenClaw product you already chose. The Hermes Agent Installation Service installs a different product, Hermes Agent, at a fixed IDR 6M with a shorter timeline of 2–5 working days.
How do I start the OpenClaw Installation Service?
Send us the server or cloud account type, the channels you want to use, and the list of people allowed to use the agent. Send this through the brief form or a free consultation booking. We reply with an access design and a price quote within 24 working hours, then install OpenClaw once you approve the scope and schedule.
// next step
OpenClaw runs with access limits, not an open door.
Send us the server type, the channels you want, and the list of people allowed to use the agent. We reply with an access design and a quote within 24 working hours.
