How to Choose a Landing Page Vendor You Can Check

Judge a vendor on evidence you can verify: live page examples, result numbers, a written scope, and code handover. Read the inspection list.

How to Choose a Landing Page Vendor You Can Check

Judge a vendor on evidence you can check yourself, not on the promises on their offer page. You can request these four proofs before you pay.

Four proofs you can check

A live page exampleAn address you can open, not a screenshot.Result numbersLead count, cost per lead, and the measurement period.A written scopeBlock count, revisions, and tracking content in a document.Code handoverThe code and edit notes become yours.

Open the sample page on your own phone. A page that is slow in your hand will be slow for your buyers.

Questions to ask

  • Who writes the offer copy, and from which data?
  • Which events are installed, and how do I check them?
  • What is the response time when the page breaks?
  • What happens to the code when the work ends?

Signals to watch

A vendor who states their limits is showing experience, not weakness.

A selection order

  1. Write one campaign goal and one success measure.
  2. Request 2 to 3 quotations with the same scope.
  3. Open each vendor sample page on a phone.
  4. Compare scope content, not the total number.
  5. Start with one page before you order a large package.

Questions and answers

Does a large portfolio guarantee results? No. What helps is an example in an industry and budget range close to yours, with its result numbers.

What if the vendor refuses to share numbers? Ask for one client number with that client permission, or ask for a range. A full refusal suggests the result was never measured.

Do I need a contract for one page? Yes. A short document with scope, time, revisions, and code ownership is enough. Read the cost breakdown before you sign.
